Track automation management system of depot is a new-generation interlocking system that carries out centralized control and information management of depot shunting operations with computer as the operating terminal, programmable logic controller (PLC) as the core, auxiliary safety relay as sampling and driving trackside equipment. The system generally consists of switch centralized control subsystem, operation image monitoring subsystem, isolation switch subsystem and locomotive positioning subsystem.

The system generally consists of switch centralized control subsystem, operation image monitoring subsystem, isolation switch subsystem and locomotive positioning subsystem.
Switch centralized control subsystem is composed of outdoor equipment and indoor equipment. Outdoor equipment includes shunting signal, switch machine, and track circuit. Indoor equipment includes distribution panel, power supply panel, combination cabinet, control center cabinet, system console, and sensor cabinet. The subsystem can achieve the following functions including sorting route, cancel route, manual unlocking, route fault unlocking and section fault unlocking, normal (reverse) operation of switch, switch locking and unlocking, repeated open signal, abnormal closed signal, alarm and test functions, system monitoring, locomotive number and maintenance section plane status display. Besides, the system is provided with remote display and control system interface display.
Operation image monitoring subsystem is composed of infrared cameras, control system, and LCD TVs. It can provide real-time monitoring of the locomotive running in the overhaul section and help the attendants operate the switch centralized control subsystem.
Isolation switch subsystem is composed of platform, isolating switch, separated control system, and central control room. After opening, establish a reliable insulation gap, the need to repair the equipment or wiring and power supply with a clear disconnect points, to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel and equipment.
Locomotive positioning subsystem is composed of signal cable, axle counting sensor, and control cabinet. It is used to precisely locate the locomotive at the servicing position in servicing area.
